Announcement of Opportunity

Closing date: 11 May 2010

This announcement is for two projects, jointly funded by NERC and the Met Office as part of the new Joint Weather and Climate Research Programme (JWCRP). Approximately £600k is available, with the anticipation that two projects will be funded, each employing one PDRA. This announcement seeks to bring through new ideas from the community that will contribute to the longer-term development of science and strategy in the areas covered by the programme.

Proposals will be collaborative, requiring participation from both the NERC community and the Met Office.
